Rhapsody + Mingle

The Mingle is a two hour Nuevo/Neo/Alt Tango music dance event from 12:00 to 2:00pm. It’s not a Milonga so no tandas, no cortinas, and no cabaceo but there is still a line of dance. Any dancers not dancing Tango should keep to the centre of the floor to allow the Tango dancers to circulate with an anti-clockwise line of dance around the outside of the floor.
This will be followed by 30 more minutes of the same music before the 4 hour Rhapsody Freestyle of usual Rhapsody Style music which starts at 2:30.

3. A state of elated bliss; ecstasy.
Rhapsody has evolved out of a desire to have Modern Blues dancing available in the Southern UK area on a regular basis. The music played is atmospheric and evocative and is chosen to enable dancers to express their musicality.

Note : This event is not a Traditional Blues dancing event and although the music played includes some Blues music, it also embraces many other genres.
